- Association of Religion Data Archives – Founded in 1997, this resource has provided unbiased information regarding religion in the United states and around the world. This repository of information is currently being hosted by Penn State University but has administrators from Clemson & Chapman University.
- Virtual Religion Index – “Index to sites covering a broad range of religions and topics in religious studies.” Excellent gateway source of information geared for students.
- Internet Sacred Text Archive – “The largest freely available archive of online books about religion, mythology, folklore and the esoteric on the Internet.”
- Religion Online – This site was originally created and primarily moderated by William F. Fore, who received his B.D. from Yale Divinity School and Ph.D. from Columbia University. Religion Online is designed to assist teachers, scholars and general “seekers” who are interested in exploring religious issues. (Use scrolling to find subject areas.
- Berkley Center for Religion, Peace & World Affairs – Located at Georgetown University, “seeks a more just and peaceful world by deepening knowledge and solving problems at the intersection of religion and global affairs through research, teaching, and engaging multiple publics.” This is a resource that also offers a curated collection of curricular modules for use.
- Religion & Public Life – Pew Research Center – Look for the religion tab. “Pew Research Center is a nonpartisan fact tank that informs the public about the issues, attitudes and trends shaping the world. We conduct public opinion polling, demographic research, content analysis and other data-driven social science research.”
